Since 1974, Hughes, Snell & Co., P.A., a full-service accounting firm located in Fort Myers, FL, has provided our clients with a broad range of accounting, tax and business advisory services.  Known for quality and integrity, we work with attorneys, bankers and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive solutions to financial planning challenges for businesses and individuals throughout Southwest Florida.

 

We’re currently seeking a self-starting team player with 3+ years of trust & estate tax and accounting experience to participate in trust & estate and other tax preparation engagements.  Working directly with clients and the tax team, you will prepare trust, estate, and other returns; collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance; have a role in tax representation; identify opportunities to increase level and type of service and develop professional client relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting, trust and estate experience preferred
  • CPA license is a plus, but not required
  • Strong organizational, client service, project management, analytical, leadership, communication and computer skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrate professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness, contribute professionally to a positive work environment, recognize & escalate client concerns and ensure professional development through ongoing education
